After a number of years off the road, this TR7 has been recommissioned for it's owner with updated steering, suspension, reconditioned brakes and a bare metal respray - did we tell you the owner is in her 70's!
Whilst resolving issues with the wiring, several solenoids needed replacing and the starter motor was reconditioned to fix its sluggish performance. The gear linkage was also overhauled with new bushes to give it a tighter and more precise gear change - Couple this to the improved and lightened steering and our customer has a car she can drive effortlessly without oversized biceps!
Having completed the basics, we've resprayed the car and stove enamelled the wheels to ensure that she looks as good as the day she left the factory.
This is one of the last TR7s produced and we believe one of the best examples in the UK.

More than a respray...

Previous Repairs
The car had previously been badly repaired in our opinion and therefore we set about remedying the bodges.

Properly Done Repairs
As can be seen below, we removed the rot and welded in new tin.

Progressing Well
Having bare-metalled the shell and repaired the previous poorly done work, we set about redressing this lady.
Do it properly or not at all!

Look what we found!
A previous wheel arch repair had been tacked in place and then filled. This won't keep moisture out!
Wheel Arch Repaired
Welded With Fresh Metal
By fully welding the arches, we can keep moisture out and perform a long term repair.

Professionally pulled!
Previous sill damage had been filled so instead we've pulled it back to shape adding strength back in to the panel.
